ESA
The Electricity Storage Association is a trade association established to foster development and commercialization of energy storage technologies. Their mission is "to promote the development and commercialization of competitive and reliable energy storage delivery systems for use by electricity suppliers and their customers."

IEEE
The IEEE, a non-profit organization, is the world’s leading professional association for the advancement of technology. Through its global membership, the IEEE is a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics among others. Members rely on the IEEE as a source of technical and professional information, resources and services. IEEE’s vision is to advance global prosperity by fostering technological innovation, enabling memebers’ careers and promoting community worldwide. The IEEE promotes the engineering process of creating, developing, integrating, sharing and applying knowledge about electro and information technologies and sciences for the benefit of humanity and the profession.

EDTA
“EDTA is the preeminent industry association dedicated to advancing electric drive as a core technology on the road to sustainable mobility. As an advocate for the adoption of electric drive technologies, EDTA serves as the unified voice for the industry and is the primary source of information and education related to electric drive. Membership includes a diverse representation of vehicle and equipment manufacturers, energy providers, component suppliers and end users.”

Kilofarad
Kilofarad International (kFI) is an industry association created to promote the interests of the ultracapacitor community. Ultracapacitors are now becoming a standard option for commercial energy storage systems in consumer electronics, automotive, and industrial power systems. For ultracapacitors to be accepted as a mainstream solution, industry members must meet customer perceptions of what it means to be “mainstream”.

Weststart/Calstart
WestStart-CALSTART is dedicated to supporting and accelerating the growth of the advanced transportation technologies industry and its related markets, with the goals of:
• Cleaning the air;
• Improving energy efficiency; and
• Creating high-quality jobs.
WestStart-CALSTART is a non-profit organization that works with the public and private sectors to develop advanced transportation technologies and foster companies that will help clean the air, lessen our dependence on foreign oil, reduce global warming, and create jobs. It was founded in 1992 as CALSTART, but rapidly expanded to address national and broader Western needs. It now operates as WestStart with CALSTART as its California operating division.

SAE International
The Society of Automotive Engineers has more than 90,000 members - engineers, business executives, educators, and students from more than 97 countries - who share information and exchange ideas for advancing the engineering of mobility systems. SAE is your one-stop resource for standards development, events, and technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space.
