For our High Voltage (HV) team, located in Rossens (FR) Switzerland, we are looking for an

Business Development Manager "Asian Scope” (100%)

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible to research, investigate, identify and develop new markets for potential application of Maxwell Technologies HV new products and new solutions.

In specific market, you should work independently with local new customers by getting the remote technical support from Swiss product managers.

Generally, this role requires up to 60% time for customer visiting activities.

Main Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth market research and design growth strategies.
- Generates new ideas and solutions by making connections between diverse types of customers, markets and processes.
- Actively participates in cross-functional brainstorming sessions.
- Build pipelines and achieve growth quota.
- Influence and position new ideas, initiatives and innovations to customers and coworkers.
- Establish relationships and arrange on-site visits with high profile prospects within the market segment.
- Act in a consultative manner with sales, assisting clients in product selection, system configuration, and other areas in product development.
- Resolve issues and achieve goals by working closely with related team members as well as all internal departments.
- Provide timely customer service


- Bachelor Degree in electronic or in information and communication technology (ICT) engineering
- 3 years’ experience in Business Development
- Experience in HV/MV equipment/components business, in foreign investment companies or in Voltage measurement would be an asset
- Fluent in Chinese and English
- Computer literate (MS office and ERP)
- Customer first shared value
