PHOTOS: Maxwell at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2016

Last week my colleagues and I attended Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2016 at the impressive Mirage in Las Vegas. HDAW is the largest North American gathering of independent heavy-duty aftermarket leaders and a very special gathering place for the devoted, life-long career individuals and family-owned businesses that make up the industry. Many of the conversations we had were with fathers and their sons—something that is not unique to this business but special in its own right.
Our team showcased the Maxwell Engine Start Module (ESM), an ultracapacitor-based engine start technology that provides reliable starts for heavy-duty diesel trucks that operate long hours and in extreme cold weather conditions. We appreciate the enthusiasm expressed by current and prospective customers and the quality conversations we had regarding supporting the needs of the trucking industry with ultracapacitor-based starting.
Maxwell is a proud HDAW participating vendor, and as a result of the show we have brought on new distribution partners that we look forward to working with over the course of the year.
HDAW also gave us the opportunity to strike up conversations about our GenSet product for generator starting, which is also based on ultracapacitor technology and planned for a 2016 release.
On behalf of the team, I can say that we look forward to attending HDAW again next year and continuing to strengthen our valued relationships with distributor partners.
