In Good Company: Maxwell Joins Energy Storage Association

| Maxwell Technologies

This spring Maxwell joined the Energy Storage Association (ESA), and we find ourselves in good company. Fellow members including GE Energy Storage, Invenergy, LG Chem, Argonne National Laboratory, ABB and Duke Energy are paving the way in energy storage, helping the world to use electricity in a more sustainable, efficient way.

ESA’s mission is to promote the adoption of competitive and reliable energy storage systems for electric service, and Maxwell will offer ESA’s members the unique perspective of ultracapacitor cell technology for energy storage.

From a regulatory and commercial perspective, our role will be to broadly promote grid energy storage and differentiate ultracapacitors as the key enabling technology for fast responding grid energy storage through active participation at ESA meetings and conferences. We look forward to educating and working with members of the association, foster partnerships and alliances to bring the highest value grid energy storage products to market. Please come visit us at our booth at ESA’s 26th Annual Conference and Expo April 25-27th and listen in to our talk on April 26th at 2:00 pm in the expo hall where Dr. Kimberly McGrath will be discussing the value of ultracapacitor-battery hybrid grid energy storage systems and stacked services.
