Power Generation Week 2015 Show Recap and Slide Show
December 14, 2015 | Dennis Flynn, Director of Corporate Marketing
Maxwell participated in the 2015 Power-Gen Show last week, a show that has earned an excellent reputation internationally for its focus on the power generation industry and validated by over 1,300 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees who gathered in Las Vegas for the 2015 event. This was Maxwell’s sixth year in attendance.
The show provides a broad base of customers and prospects within the power sector, including manufacturers and system integrators. While this show has provided a solid list of leads for us to pursue each year, our overall objectives continue to be awareness and education against the broad market opportunity.
Because of the broad application base participating within Power-Gen, coupled with our effort to focus on the grid market, plus our new Genset Starting product, our broader theme for this show was "The Power of Ultracapacitors: Stability with Reliability." Our key messaging was focused on Genset Starting benefits and grid stabilization. This was the first event where we introduced our Genset product, which will be officially launched in the second quarter of 2016.
In addition to our presence at the show, we also had our own Dr. Kim McGrath, director of business development, speak at the "On-Site Power: Distributed Generation—Financing, Technologies and Energy Storage" session. Her presentation was well-received and, by all reports, extremely informative.
Please take a look at the photo slideshow to get a better sense of our overall presence and experience at the show.
