Our BOOSTCAP® ultracapacitor cells and multi-cell modules provide safe and reliable power solutions for applications in consumer and industrial electronics, transportation and telecommunications.
Our CONDIS® high-voltage grading and coupling capacitors help to ensure the safety and reliability of electric utility infrastructure and other applications involving transport, distribution and measurement of high-voltage electrical energy.
Our radiation-mitigated microelectronic products include power modules, memory modules and single board computers that incorporate powerful commercial silicon for superior performance and high reliability in aerospace applications.

History
Founded in 1965 as Maxwell Laboratories, the Company originally was a government contractor, providing advanced physics, pulsed power, space effects analysis and other research and development services to the U.S. military and other government agencies. The Company began conversion to commercial applications for its technologies and products in the early 1990s, and now generates all of its revenue from commercial sources.
Growth Strategy
Commercialize ultracapacitors, high voltage capacitors and microelectronic components and systems in selected markets.

Headquarters and principal operations located in San Diego, CA with a European base of operations in Rossens, Switzerland, and Shanghai; China. Maxwell employs approximately 250 people worldwide.
