Neutron Testing

Neutron testing is performed at various reactors around the country. Maxwell Technologies has agreements with several reactor facilities. All provide a few day turn around since we have a Radioactive Materials handling license and are allowed to receive radioactive materials.

• Fast Burst Reactor (FBR) Characteristics
• High Neutron to Gamma Ratio
• Negligible Thermal Neutrons
• Pre- and post-exposure measurements
• Fluences up to 2.5E15 n/cm² (1MeV eq. Si)
