Variable Dose Rate (Co-60) Testing

Maxwell Technologies Microelectronics offers a Cobalt-60 low dose rate irradiation system at low cost. The dose rates can vary from extremely slow dose rates, 0.001Rad(Si)/s, up to MIL-STD-883 Method 1019.5 dose rates. Maxwell owns three seperate sources, two Gammacell 220's and a Range Source.

2.0Rad(Si)/s to MIL-STD-883 1019.5 - Gammacell 220's

Unlike many sources, the Range Source can irradiate up to 50 different Bias Boards at any one time. This is made possibe because the sources actually irradiate the entire room. Depending on shielding and distance from the sources, most desired dose rates can be achieved! The Gammacell 220's can each irradiate one bias board at a time, and also offer a variety of dose rates.
