The UL marks are some of the most recognized symbols in the world. It means that an independent, not-for-profit laboratory has tested samples of our certified products to specific requirements.
We are proud of our UL Component Recognized certification which is unique to our small cell BOOSTCAP® Ultracapacitors and is a first of its kind for this type of product.
Our UL certification says something about our products; it's your assurance that steps have been taken in the interest of your safety.

ISO Certification Information
Maxwell Technologies is an ISO 9001 certified company. In addition, the manufacturing line of our Microelectronics division is certified to QML 'Q' and 'V' specifications. The QML V certification is granted to those unique companies that meet the stringent standards set by MIL-PRF-38535 as approved by Aerospace Corporation, Jet Propulsion Laboratories and Defense Supply Center Columbus. Only 13 other companies in the world are compliant to this standard.
The ISO/TS standard is a globally recognized pre-requisite for qualification as a regular supplier to major automakers that was developed with extensive input from the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). It demands significantly higher levels of design and development controls and manufacturing process discipline than the more general ISO standards and incorporates common criteria for evaluating automotive parts suppliers’ compliance. Maxwell Technologies manufacturing plants in China, Switzerland and USA are ISO/TS16949 certified.
