Meet up with Maxwell at 2016 Events!
January 04, 2016 | Yayoi Suzuki, Marketing Communications Manager
Happy New Year! 2016 is here, and Maxwell's sales, marketing, and business development teams are ready to kick off this year’s events. We will showcase the latest ultracapacitor technology for the transportation and grid markets at trade shows and conferences worldwide and will also participate via speaking engagements and sponsorships.
Here are some of this year’s event highlights:
From February 9–11, our high voltage and ultracapacitor divisions will attend Distributech, the industry’s leading transmission and distribution show in Orlando, FL. Look for us in booth #2135.
April 18–19 Maxwell will participate in the Next-Generation Energy Storage Conference in our hometown of San Diego, CA. Dr. Kimberly McGrath, director of business development, will present a paper titled, "Increasing the Value of Grid Energy Storage with Ultracapacitors." Dr. McGrath will discuss how an ultracapacitor-battery hybrid system can be optimized for grid energy storage.
In Europe, Maxwell will exhibit at ees Europe in June. In 2015, we were finalists in the ees Awards’ electrical energy storage category for ultracapacitors in grid applications. We received extensive media and industry attention for our presentation there and plan to leverage that momentum in 2016.
Join us in booth #324 where we’ll showcase the Maxwell Engine Start Module (ESM) at the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition, the premiere trucking event in North America. The show will be held February 29—March 3 in Nashville, TN. Maxwell will exhibit the ESM ULTRA 31/1800 for heavy duty trucks, the ULTRA 31/900 for medium duty trucks, and a live demo. See how the ESM replaces one BCI Group 31 battery in a battery bank to crank the engine, effectively eliminate jump-starts, and more. We look forward to meeting you and discussing the benefits of installing the ESM in trucks and the return on investment (ROI) for fleets.
In the automotive space, Maxwell Technologies will participate in multiple conferences and trade shows in Europe, Asia and North America. At the New Energy Vehicle International Forum in Shanghai, Dr. Yishan Li, senior field applications engineer, will give a presentation on the emerging applications for ultracapacitors in the automotive ecosystem. Learn why more than 1.5 million cars count on Maxwell ultracapacitors for start-stop performance improvement, boardnet stabilization, peak power assist and more.
We will also participate in several events with our global business partners. For a full list of our events, please visit our events page.
Best wishes for a prosperous year ahead!
